About Remove Person
Erase unwanted bystanders and photo bombers from photos using numerical bounding box coordinates and content-aware inpainting.
Features
- Precision numerical bounding box coordinate controls (X, Y, Width, Height)
- Content-aware bilinear boundary interpolation and pixel inpainting algorithm
- Seamless texture diffusion that blends surrounding background pixels across the target box
- Full resolution preservation without downsampling the rest of the image
- 100% private in-browser execution — photos never leave your device
How It Works
- Upload the photograph containing the person or bystander you want to erase.
- Enter the bounding box coordinates (X, Y, Width, Height) corresponding to the area covering the person.
- Click "Remove Person" to run the local inpainting interpolation engine.
- Inspect how surrounding textures are blended over the selected bounding area.
- Download your cleaned-up photograph.
FAQs
How does the bounding-box coordinate removal work?
You enter the X and Y pixel positions for the top-left corner of the target area, along with Width and Height. Pixelora constructs an inpainting mask over that exact bounding box and diffuses neighboring boundary pixels inward to reconstruct the scene.
What backgrounds yield the best removal results?
The algorithm works best on natural backgrounds with repeating or soft textures, such as blue sky, ocean waves, sandy shores, grass, and smooth walls.
How does Remove Person differ from Remove Watermark?
Both tools share our client-side inpainting interpolation engine. Remove Person is optimized for broader vertical bounding boxes covering figures, while Remove Watermark is tailored for compact corner or center logo bounds.
Can I remove multiple people from the same photograph?
Yes. You can process one bounding area, download or re-upload the result, and apply the tool to additional areas.
Are my private vacation photos sent to an external server?
No. All inpainting calculations take place 100% locally on your machine inside your browser.
