FAQs
How does tile numbering work for Instagram 3x3 grids?
Tiles are numbered left-to-right, top-to-bottom (1 through 9). When posting to Instagram so that the grid forms correctly on your profile, post tile 9 first, then 8, down to tile 1 last.
What grid dimensions can I configure?
You can configure any custom combination from 1 to 6 rows and 1 to 6 columns, covering 3x3 grids, 3x1 panoramic carousels, 2x2 quads, and more.
Will slicing introduce gaps or seams between adjacent tiles?
No. Pixelora calculates exact fractional coordinate boundaries using rounded integer offsets, ensuring adjoining tiles align perfectly without gaps or overlapping pixels.
In what format are the sliced tiles saved?
Tiles are rendered in lossless PNG or high-quality JPEG format and packaged into a standard ZIP archive via JSZip.
Are any files uploaded to an external server?
No. The entire slicing process and ZIP compression happen 100% locally on your device inside browser memory.
